National Championship Celebration

Pete and I traveled to Columbus this weekend to be part of the Championship Celebration at the stadium. It was 28 degrees and cold, but what a day!! 45,000 of our closest friends came to celebrate the Buckeyes Championship with us!!!

This was the line of people waiting for the stadium to open at 9:15 (the celebration was not to start until 11:00)

The team is greeted by "the Best Fans in the Land" as they enter the stadium!!

With no practical excuse to offer, I need to apologize for neglecting this blog for nearly 10 months... for the entire 2014 Ohio State Football Season... there is NO excuse for that.

I will make every attempt to be more diligent in the future. "Go Bucks"

Indianapolis for the Big Ten Tournament

Just got back this afternoon from Indianapolis. Joe and I drove down on Thursday afternoon, arriving around 8:30 p.m. (we had stopped at a  London, Ohio sports bar to watch the final minutes of the OSU vs. Purdue game... close, dramatic win!!)

Banker's Life Fieldhouse is a GREAT venue!!

On Friday, the Buckeyes defeated Nebraska.

(after a 41-19 run in the last 12 minutes of play... unbelievable comeback)

A rally was held on Saturday morning at Champps Sports Bar.

Saturday afternoon the Buckeyes played M*******

A GREAT comeback, an EXCITING ending, but lost 71-68.

Saturday evening, Joe and I went to the Slippery Noodle for music, food and a beverage.
