Baltimore - Boats, Bars, and Baseball

Six of us - Joe, Joe, Pete, Howard, Brad and Dave - flew out of Cleveland for Baltimore last Thursday afternoon.
We had reservations for The Tremont Hotel in downtown Baltimore. When we arrived, we went to Milton's up the street from the hotel and had a drink and some supper.

The Tremont Hotel

Friday morning we got up early and took a two hour Segway tour of the city. We took our tour guide, Bill, for a beer after our Segway tour. We went to a pub called, "Ale Mary's" for soup and a beer.

Friday evening we walked to Camden Yards for the Baltimore vs. Chicago White Sox game. Baltimore won 2-0 on two homeruns. Beautiful stadium and great atmosphere in the ballpark's surroundings. Here are a few pictures of the guys with the vendors, the interior of the club section and some pictures during the game.

Much of Saturday was spent at the Inner Harbor...what a neat area...restaurants, ESPNZone, Hard Rock Cafe, aquarium, pubs, museums and on-going entertainment. We also took the water taxi and toured Fort McHenry...great tour! Some Inner harbor pictures :

On Sunday morning, before flying home, we went to the Babe Ruth's Birthplace Museum. After touring the museum, we stopped at Quigley's Bar and then found Maggie Moore's Irish Pub.

Where Babe Ruth was born...nice display of Babe Ruth artifacts.

"The Guys" at Maggie Moore's.

"One GREAT weekend!!"
